Abstract

Purpose: The purpose was to investigate the influences of mentoring program on adjustment to college life and self-esteem of nursing college students.

Method: Thirty-one nursing college students took part in the study. Mentoring program was carried out for 4 hours a week for 16 weeks.

Result: Mentoring program showed significant change on the adjustment to college life and self esteem.

Conclusion: It is promising that mentoring program can be effective one to increase the adjustment to college life, and improve the self-esteem of nursing college students.
